About
I am an IT Systems Engineer with a focus on identity, automation, and endpoint management at scale. My day-to-day work spans Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and PowerShell automation, with a growing interest in platform and DevOps engineering.
I started in IT doing the work nobody else wanted, contractor roles, help desk escalations, and whatever needed doing. The project that changed my direction was rolling out an imaging solution that let us provision ten laptops at a time instead of one. That was the moment automation clicked as something worth pursuing seriously.
From there I moved into enterprise endpoint management at a technical education institution, building out PowerShell and scripting libraries, managing an estate of 10,000+ devices across national campuses, and learning what it actually takes to operate infrastructure at scale. That foundation carried into financial services, where the work shifted toward identity, compliance, and building tooling that Security and Compliance teams depend on.
The homelab is where I push into things that do not come up at work yet. Self-hosted infrastructure, Linux, containerization, and network architecture are all things I would rather understand deeply than read about. Most of what is on this site came out of that.

Beyond the Terminal#
I am not someone who switches off when I step away from a screen. Most of what I do outside of work runs on the same instinct: understand how something works, then take it apart and put it back together better.
I have done most of the work on my own home myself, including wiring, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, and roofing.
3D Printing & Making
Started with an Ender 3 and worked through several heavily modified machines before landing on a Bambu Labs P1S. The switch was intentional. Once I understood how printers worked mechanically, I wanted to focus on modeling. Started with TinkerCAD and have been pushing into Fusion 360 and Blender.
Cooking & Health
Got into sourdough seriously enough to maintain a starter and learned the science behind why bread behaves the way it does. I have developed a habit of taking recipes I love and rebuilding them to be healthier without losing what makes them good. That approach is a big part of how I have lost around 60 pounds.
Drums
Teaching myself through YouTube, one concept at a time, on a modified Alesis kit expanded with additional hardware. The goal is eventually double kick, once the foot pedal situation gets sorted.
Family & Everything Else
I take my uncle duties seriously. My nieces and nephews get custom 3D prints, Lego builds, and more patience than most adults are willing to offer. When we need to decompress, my wife and I escape to California or Northern Arizona. Back home we share the house with two cats, Arthur, a Maine Coon, and Remy, a domestic longhair, who have strong opinions about everything.
